I'm happy with my 14-42 EZ on my E-M1 MkI when I want to go small. With the JJC auto-opening lens cap, it's like a big P&S.

I know! I was gobsmacked when I saw it was ready for pick up Chatham Islands. Vendor says Courier Company sorting it. NZ Post - usually very reliable. My initial response was that I had been fleeced!

The only compact prime I can recommend from personal experience is the Panasonic Lumix 20mm f1.7. Image quality is great even wide open and it has outstanding color rendition. The only possible issue with this lens is auto focus speed and noise. At less than $300, it will not break the bank.

Just an update: my Trekker, plus the GX8, the 12-32, the 45-175 and daily sundries - weighs 1600 grams. It’s a nice weight on the EDC shoulder for what it is.
