The "Starry Night Auto Focus" of the E-M1 Mark iii works great, point the camera toward the click click on "AEL/AFL" all become sharp

Great images! Very impressive. What was your exposure with the 40-150 2.8? Did you stack images for that shot?

Thank you @Will Focus. All took in one shot.
I used the 400 rule [400/(150x2)] = 1.3s ... that way the stars won't move ... I bumped the ISO way up 8000 for the 40-150mm and 10000 for the 300mm and 1s exposure time.

I suppose my biggest question in shooting with such astronomically high ISO settings is how do you manage to keep the images from looking like a mosaic of noise? They seem relatively clean for 8000 and 10,000 ISO.

Topaz Denoise AI does really good magic...download the trial version and see for yourself.
Also I expose "to the right" as well...so by bringing down highlight introduce less noise than bringing up shadow.

Great shots. I went out to try my hand at it a few days ago but it had already set. It's been cloudy in the evening but will try again if I get a window.

The comet shots are good, and the landscape shots are really great.

Was the comet easy to see without the camera?
Where I live I can take pictures, but with only my eyes (or small binoculars) it's very difficult to see it.

[Fr] Merci @SojiOkita ... de cette endroit, vue qu'il n'y a pas trop de pollution c'était facile à la voir. Par chez moi en ville j'ai du mail à le voir aussi.

[Eng] from this spot it was easy to find and see it since there was little or no light pollution.

Went to Arches National Park during the weekend and got see it again last night...tried a few time with epic foreground but the cloud always came out at the bad moment.

On your last pictures (Mostly on the first pano) the second tail is visible... I never managed to catch it!

I think it has to be very dark where you are watching it...this was taken at Arches National Park in Utah.
