Was at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts for the Dale Chihuly glass exhibit.
Very nice set, indeed.
Was the lighting "as is" for the exhibits, or did you use lighting? Either way, it makes them and the colour really stand out
Nice set. That last one is really cool.
Nice! Do you know how long the exhibit will be there? I need to get over to Richmond before it closes, if I can.
I shot an outdoor Chihuly exhibit when I was in Dallas last November. It was very cool, and challenging to shoot: Chihuly glass - a set on Flickr
@savvy - the lighting was all set up by the museum - they did an excellent job.
@foxtail1 - the exhibition is open until Feb 10. Nice shots as well!
I have uploaded a few more to my web site: Virginia Museum of Fine Arts - Narnian's Photos
Nice shots! Many of the shapes/colors in Richmond are the same as the Dallas exhibit, but what a different experience shooting inside with lighting vs outside.
I love the lighted blue threads!
Beautiful set - love the colors!
Great shots! I love the colors in the second one.
