We had a chilly & foggy Sunday morning so I managed to get out for 20 min to grab a few images with the new GX1 + 14-42X lens.

It feels considerably smaller than the GF1+20mm and I have yet to get used to it, it does feel very solid & well made with a good finish over all.

I do agree that the AF is faster than on the GF1 even with the 20mm and I have yet to try it seriously and swap from auto ISO to one of my choice so still discovering - a little sad that the manual is not hard copy like the GF1 but that's life.

    Here are some grab shots:

Lovely shots! Especially the last two.

Couldn't help be a little OCD, but wish you had rotated the second one so that the frame doesn't appear tilted...

GX1 vs GF1 low ISO noise

    Hi Ian

I read somewhere that the GX1 has much lower noise visible in images at the high ISO settings, but I was wondering if the noise at 100 ISO matches the GF1, as often the noise levels can increase when the sensor resolution is increased?
