    Lovely shot! I might brighten it up a stop or two though unless you are going for a darker feel.

    Sometimes gray, dark days are gray, dark days. Given the angle of the shadow I am guessing that this is a low sun picture. It is a cold looking bird.

    Why do you need to brighten what nature has given as cold and dark? Sigh. Just because you have access to PP it does not mean that you need to use PP (or HDR). Perhaps, this image would be give an interesting contrast view if B&W was done along side?
