    Hi Raj!

I've not used Cokin filters since I abandoned film in 2006.

I think I'll hang back and let somebody else try 'em first  - those things weren't all that cheap even in the 1970's.

With the post processing now available...I dunno. Maybe...get started using the neutral density set and go from there...

    I dunno .

    Regards,

    Jim

Not sure what exactly is really changing. They changed the name a bit ago (first noticed about 3 months ago), and from what I read, the cases and naming conventions get an overhaul. Nothing else really...

    Everything old is new again.
Cokin was the "Creative Filter System" in the 70s and 80s.

Meh. I bought one of their expensive filters once. Wasn't impressed with the amount of ghosting so I moved on.

I ended up going with the Lee Seven5 system instead, it just arrived this week. I like how the nd grad transitions are designed for smaller sensors instead of just smaller cuts of the larger filters. Sadly I haven't had much of a chance to play with it much, work has been a bit hectic, and it's apparently raining on my one off day /sigh.
