My wife's favorite cocktail (sorry no cool name)....

    In cocktail shaker:

1 1/2 oz Pear infused vodka (usually use the French stuff)
1 oz St. Germain liqueur (Elderflower, no, seriously)
    1/2 oz fresh lime juice

Shake with generous ice, top with sparkling white wine or champagne in a martini glass.

I'm pretty sure this is a Yellow Daisy, which happens to be one of my wife's favourites!

I've been meaning to check out St. Germain for a little while now, but haven't had a good excuse yet. However, that drink looks like it may be just the thing.

The Yellow Daisy looks great - sounds like a 20's recipe?

Probably! It's pretty smooth, but as written maybe a touch strong on the pastis. I usually use a sweet absinthe instead, and a touch less so the anise/herbal flavours don't overwhelm everything.
