Have not gotten much shooting done lately so I took plenty of snaps at Coachella this past weekend. Here are a few. Taken with with either EPM1 or G5. Had several lenses on hand, but my PL25 got the most use.

That's sad, to lose out on so many shooting opportunities. There are many strap and harness systems to keep cameras close to the body.

Well theres usually not a lot of space (no space in many occasions) between yourself and other people. When the crowd gets going Im assuming its not going to go well the camera especially with a longer lens. Not to mention all the sweat

I only ever brought the epm1 inside with me with the pl25 attached. It stayed in my pocket most of the time in the on position so as to keep it safe and I only took it out briefly to shoot. I may have missed some good shots, but it was well worth it. I also had am extra battery so I was not worried much about battery consumption. It lasts a good while before it needs changing.

A super set of photos, especially #4. Great stuff.

shizlefonizle, I would not worry too much about camera gear and such. Most cameras are a lot tougher than you think and can usually take a few knocks here and there. As far as water or sweat, one of the best tools a photographer can take along on any shoot is a small cotton towel that you wear in your back pocket. You will be amazed at the many uses you will find for it. I always carry one when shooting an event or in a crowd or during inclement weather.
