What's up everyone? I'm Wayne. I snooped these forums way back when when I was on the hunt for some legacy lenses (came across the Contaxes) and worked a summer job to get the 45/2 Zeiss Planar T with an adapter. It's my favorite lens for serious portraits. The incredible sharpness of this lens not only gives me better photos, but also makes them a lot more fun to work with.

The GF1 is my first camera and I couldn't have more good words for it. I just turned 20 and its been an incredibly discrete travel camera. Shot with a GF1, 45/2 Zeiss Planar, and a diffuser. Met up with a friend and shot this on a beautiful day with pretty incredible weather. The 'RB' logo was just for some laughs haha!

Thanks for all the positive responses all!

Updated the thread with one more shot from it all (although it looks a little out of focus.. the screen is so hard to see in sunlight haha). Both shots were shot wide-open at F/2.0

  6. Nice shot. I like the soft cloud's reflection in the glasses.

    Beautiful.

You really know how to work that lens.

Thanks for the good words all. I shot everything wide-open so you really get a sense of just show sharp the lens is, even at F/2.0. Overall, an incredible lens to get shots you really care about.
