I just picked one up and I see now why the price was so good. Optically it seems fine but it's missing the front decoration ring and the body has numerous marks. The worst however is the thread of the focusing ring is stained with something (oily residue?) and I am clueless as how to clean it. The seller is offering a refund but I feel kinda bad because it was a very good price. That said, the condition of the body is really bugging me. Anyone have any ideas about how I can clean it up?

On the plus side it did come with a hood and two filters (one of them a nice B&W).
