I've inherited an old Nikkor Lense that is valuable enough to get cleaned refurbed. It has a tiny spot of fungus internally that I'd like to fix. Can anyone recommend a trusted repair facility that can work magic

Thx.

I use a place called the Latent Image (though I have not taken anything there for a few years): http://www.thelatentimage.net/

They are just up the road from where I live in Richmond, VA.

I live a 40 minute drive away, and have 2 items with him now, A Pentax Super Program (CLA) and a Vivitar 28mm/2 for a iris de-oiling.

He does great work, and has a 3-4 week turn around with a 6 month warranty (P/L).

He works on all classic Film (except Leica and Contax RF - by choice-), and all digital cams, and lenses..... A typical lens CLA $45 to $100 as an average...

Give him a call or shoot him an email with what you have and what you want done....He can also give free estimate with you paying post...

I have always gone to Bob for any camera repairs, with no 2nd trip needed.
