Cool! Purchased
I think I may have been a bit daft here... just bought the profiles for the GX7, but as I'm still using LR4 I have to convert to DNG first... am I right in thinking this isn't going to work?
You don't need to convert to DNG. You need to shoot RAW though. It should work in Lightroom 4 because it's the same develop process (2012). Send me a message if you have a problem.
Thanks Eric, I thought that Lightroom didn't natively support the GX7 until version 5.2, hence why I've been converting into DNG... do you know off hand if this will work from a DNG instead of RW2? (I'm at work now and can't try again until tonight).
I've been toying with the idea of a CC account so this might be the push I need...
Maybe you are right for GX7 support. I can't remember when they put it in. It works from a RW2 or a DNG. Both are raw files.
LR4 doesn't support the GX7, GH4 or the G6. For that reason I convert my G6 RW2s to DNGs before import. Speaking of...any chance of a G6 version? ;-)
Maybe but not right away. I had a request for the GH3 too which use the same sensor as the G6 if I remember. I spent way too much time in front of the computer in the last 5 days so I need to take a break... lol. But I might work on G5, G6 and GH3 version in the near future.
Hey. I just bought the E-PL5 preset, but I'm using a custom preset folder, so I can't for the life of me find out where to put the .dcp file. There's no folder called CameraRaw that I can see?
I tried my custom preset folder - nothing.
Tried C:\Users\<myuser>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\ - nothing
Can you help?
No, it work in camera raw too. Someone uses it in Darktable (or something like that) on Linux after converting it to another format.only works in lightroom, right?
Hi Eric, finally I bought the LX100 profile and had it working in Darktable/Linux thank you very much for your effort! I've tried it in a few photos and found an... issue? on one of them, regarding a pink-fuchsia color. I don't know if it's the normal behaviour of the Chrome film, or it's an issue with the convert process from .dcp to .icc, do you mind if I post/send you the RAW, just to try? The photo is just a first-day-go-out-n-shoot one, from the very first day with the LX100:

Left the Darktable preset, right your Chrome V2 preset. As you can see, the colours are more natural and pleasant in the Chrome one, but I noticed the pink-fuchsia strip in the scarf. I know well that scarf and I know that the actual color is that very strong fuchsia as shown in the Darktable preset.
My question is: is this the normal behaviour of the Chrome profile, or is it an issue in my conversion from dcp to icc?
Anyway, love the results so I'll buy the E-M5 preset too, thank you!
