    A new website has started with free live classes in Photography and related software

    If you are in the NY area
    Adorama and NAPP are having a Photoshop CS5 Seminar next Thursday April 15th
    What’s New in Photoshop CS5
    Dave Cross, Chief Photoshop Guy, National Association of Photoshop Professionals

    There is a $20 fee but you get it back as a $20 Adorama credit

    Also for NYers B&H has many free talks and seminars at their event space

    thanks bbw the 20 credit at adorama sounds good they were the first [and only company ]
    to call me last june to tell me the ep1 came in ..they held it and i was there within 3 hours

    the rest as they say............... is history

    I found the B&H lecture seminar with Brenda Tharp fantastic. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JUxXueESm9w It might seem long (over 2 hours) but time flies when you have fun!

    She has also written the book Extraordinary Everyday Photography where you find similar info as the video. I'd highly recommend both.

    I don't particularly like Scott Kelby's books but found this very worthwhile to watch (Crush the Composition - Google+ Photographers Conference)

    I'd also love to get more recommendations, both artistic and technical in any format.
