Came across this odd member of the Kodak Cine line in s-mount:

Serial number predates CAMEROSITY so I'm guessing it's '30s-era. As usual the helicoid needed degreasing/regreasing, but the aperture was pleasantly firm yet smooth so I left it alone. 3 inches makes the focal length 76.2mm. Has the usual Cine look with vignetting obvious in some shooting situations. Need to take it out in good light so I can use faster shutter speeds and lower ISO, but for now, some quick shots around where I was working, all wide-open.

After shooting and processing these test shots I realized while the exterior glass looked good, I overlooked lots of dust and debris on the interior optics that lead to pronounced haze and softness that doesn't improve when stopping down.

Unfortunately, I couldn't easily get at the interior optics with the tools at my disposal, so any further work will remain a project for the future, if I ever get to it. I like the focal length, but w/o the faster and close-focus feature of some of the other models in this line, it's not as flexible a lens.

This set is a mix of edited and straight out of camera shots, the former mostly converted to B&W, auto-leveled or dehazed, the latter are tagged SOOC.
