Yes, I found out about the exhibit from your post (the neon?), and you were kind enough to tell me when it was to close. I was glad to make it to Richmond before the end of the exhibit!

I'm local, too - down in Colonial Heights (20 miles south of Richmond). I get to the Va. Museum of Fine Arts five or six times a year. Love it there.

    VMFA last month -

Sounds like a great idea! We can all go down and rent Segways and go scooting around Richmond in a pack!

I'm four hours away, but might still be able to make it. Put me in the walkabout category — shooting from a Segway would not be my thing.

If this convention happens let me know. I'm also 4 hrs away (same area as Kristi) but we go to Richmond a couple of times a year anyway. Sounds like fun.

Nice images. We are kind of spoiled for this stuff here in the Seattle area, but it is awesome to see some pieces I haven't seen before and somebody elses take on photographing them.

I'm trying to convince our fearless leader to have a regional sub forums so that coordinating things like this can be easier.
