I was scouting the FL600s but they are a bit out of reach pricewise; picked up a Vivitar DF383 for $121 from Amazon. Works great including TTL mode on my old Panasonic G10. The TTL power adjustment is a little clunky to get to on the G10 menu, though. I can see there is a lot to learn to make use of this new toy, but I'm happy with it so far!

I also have this flash. It's a great deal for the $100-$120 it goes for.

How does it work size-wise with the Panasonic? I have an OMD and want to get a flash with a little more power, but all the flashes with 4 AAs I've seen just seem too big. Is this flash about the size of the old Vivitar 283/285s? Thanks for the help.

Well that's a pretty subjective thing, of course; it's much bigger than the FL300R but smaller than an older SLR flash; about 5" high folded sideways.
