Here's a thrift store find that's been sitting since I bought it this summer. I guess I'm not that much of a manual focus guy. It's a Carenar 135mm f2.8 in a m42 screw mount. I paid $20 for it, I just want to recoup my $20 and cover fees and shipping so it's $32 to you (anywhere in the US). Alternately, A NEW donation of $35 to support Mu-43.com will also get it done. I'll just need some sort of evidence. And I'll gladly pay the shipping to echo my support of this great forum. Ho-Ho-Ho! Here's a couple shots of it. "640" height="480" alt="P1040245"> "640" height="480" alt="P1040246"> Please note that the m42 to m43 mount you see in the photo does not come with it. Here's a shot I took with it.....certainly not high art. View attachment 184625 "640" height="480" alt="P1050296"> No PP on this either, it's SOOC. He was sitting all the way across the room. A 135mm f2.8 can be a LOT of fun. Obviously it's not crazy sharp like modern native glass, but there is no modern native lens this fast at this focal length....not by a long shot. (Oh how I wish there were.....are you listening Oly and Panny?) It's solidly built and has a nice heft to it. Glass appears to be in excellent shape (with screw-on front and rear caps it's obviously been well cared for). It's not mint, but it's not a beater either. For the price, you can't go wrong. pm with questions or a commitment to purchase.
