Cathedral Rocks (Kiama) in the afternoon

    A weekend cannot go by without a seascape.

    Here are some photos of Cathedral Rocks just north of Kiama. This is about 90 minutes South of Sydney and a great little spot. Normally I would do something like this at sunrise but I slept in this morning.

    These were shot between 3pm and 4pm and I used a 8-stop ND to get long exposures, combined with 3-stop soft or hard GNDs according to the scene. I am quite pleased with these results.

    Shot with my Olympus E-P1 and Olympus 9-18mm M.Zuiko zoom. I think most were shot at the long end as the lens was a bit short for the location.
