Cataract Gorge in flood

    Launceston's Cataract Gorge in full flood tonight.

    Shot #2 is some children's play equipment that's usually about 5m above water...

    GH2 with 7-14 ASPH and Nokton 25mm.

    Thanks! I'm still trying to master processing, especially colour-balance, for long exposure shots (especially like these when there where several different light sources), but I'll get there :)

    Thanks Kosta, I'm quite fond of them ;)  I love the starbursts you get from the Nokton!

    Love the long exposures - a unique way to document a flood! Hope everyone is ok there...

    Yeah everything is fine. The South-Esk catchment covers about 1/5th of Tasmania, and it all flushes through this Gorge. So, when it floods, well, it floods :smile: The last time there was a major flood that broke the levy walls was in the 1920's I think...
