I have one of the medium sized Gorillapods aimed at mirrorless cameras, but there is no room in my (purposely small) Lowepro Classic ILC 100 bag for it. When I used to use a Canon G10, my small Gorillapod (aimed at compact cameras, but a touch small even for the G10) would fit happily into my pocket - not so this larger one.

Can anyone suggest a suitable shoulder-strap based carrying case for it, preferably one that can also accommodate a remote release (which is of not much use without a tripod of some sort)?

I carried my Gorillapod SLR hooked to bag shoulder strap, tripod legs worked as clothespin. Or laying under photobag top flap.

To be honest I don't like Gorillapod any more since I discovered cracks on joints  Actually Ultrapod II is much better, solid and sturdy portable tripod.

Oh yes, It is reported by other users on Internet as well. Pitty... however it is now serving as flash stand, because it can't handle weight of m4/3 camera anymore.
