    Adapted and adapted.

Formerly in Exakta Mount, converted to Nikon S-Mount using a Sonnar mount.

Why? Tessar forumula lenses are very, very rare in Nikon S-Mount. Only a few made in 1946. There are West German 50mm F3.5 Tessar "T" lenses in Contax mount, also expensive. The CZJ Tessars are plentiful in Exakta mount, this lens was $15.

Amedeo Adapter used for the EP2.

I converted the second Tessar bought off of Ebay, this one had cleaner glass. This one is now set for use for Contax.

    Wide-Open.

I used a good vice to press the Tessar into the Sonnar mount, seems to have lines-up well based on the Fence test.

Fences and Brick walls are good tests for alignment,
