Picture taken at a friends place, the large “thing” on top of the pole on the right is meant to be an owl, installed to keep the gulls off of the balconies. Oh, and it’s eyes light up at night apparently! Looks like the gull is trying to instigate a conversation? Apologies for the poor photo, sometimes you just have to grab ‘em when you can.
