Canon FL lens

Hello,

I have an old Canon 50mm 1.8 FL mount lens (bought in 1964 with my first reflex: the Canon FX.

I have only found the Canon FD to m4/3 adaptor. I think this should be compatible with FL lens, is that right?

I say this because I read somewhere (I think Wikipedia) that the FL mount lens went on the FD mount cameras. But I'm not sure, so I should like some feednack about this.

I know it's a very old lens, but it was my first one and I'm very affectionate to it and would love to use it again.

If I buy the FD to m4/3 adaptor can I mount my old 50mm FL lens?

Thank you.

I have both FD and FL lenses that I use with my FD adapter. The adapter I have required a little grinding to fit the FL lenses, but that's easy enough to do if you run into that (you may not). The older FD lenses have the same mount (breech lock) as the FL lenses. Only the newer FD lenses have the bayonet mount.

Thanks very much for your experience. I'll try the FD adapter and let you know.
