Description
FD Mount Canon 400mm f4.5 plus matching FD 1.4x extender (teleconverter) and FD->m43 adapter

Lens is in spectacular condition. Glass is perfect and body is just as good. Comes with the Canon leather front cover, rear cap, tripod collar, drop-in filter holder (with clear filter), orignal leather case (missing strap). Everything is in great shape.

I looked around a long time before buying it, and I don't think you'll find a copy of this lens in better shape. I bought this lens to try on my m43 mount to shoot moon shots. But I received a Celestron spotting scope for Christmas that I've come to enjoy using. So I need to get rid of this one.

I only tried it out a couple of times, but it seems to be a good sharp copy. I'm not very good at manual focus, so the pics were hit and miss, but what was in focus seemed crisp.

Extender is in terrific shape as well, comes with both caps, but no pouch.

These are hard to find in good condition. This one has a small (3mm?) spot of something on the rear element, but its all the way against the side. It doesn't affect the image at all with m43. I imagine it wouldn't cause an issue with full frame, as its very faint. Of course, I can't test that. Its almost like a tiny spot of coating has peeled or something (see photo with red arrow). Other than that, its in pristine condition.

Can u post some pics and try to show the rear-element spot you mentioned? Maybe some example shots taken with the lens?

Cheers.

I tried to take a shot of a very minor scratch (looks like dust) I noticed on the front while taking pics.

And the 1.4x Extender:

And a couple of shots I took while testing out the combo. There are crops from RAW processed in LR. A little noise reduction and a little CA removal.
