I recently acquired one of these and I am somewhat disappointed at the performance at f1.4. There seems to be quite a bit of CA and it does not seem to be very sharp (has a glowing haze quality to it). Stopped down a few clicks it is fantastic, but I guess I was expecting a little more from it at f1.4. I would love to hear other's opinions on this lens.

Hi, I am not an expert pixel peeper but I can share my experience with this lens. I found images to have beautiful color and to be have lots of detail. Comparing to other high quality native lenses (I have panasonic 20mm in my mind), out of camera images appear to have less contrast but it is pretty easy to pop up all the details during post processing. The first three images I posted earlier have all been shoot at f1.4 and post processed but without any sharpening, I found these to be ok for my eyes.

Anyway I am able to get not so sharp images while shooting at low f numbers in case I do not focus "right". The best result I am able to get, always happen to be when magnifying the image while manually focusing, relaying on focus peeking does not provide the same results. This can be for sure something very personal and therefore not applicable to you.

Can you share some pictures with us?
    Thanks
