Hi. I've been asked to teach a series of photography lessons to a beginner group and would like to be able to display the OLED or EVF from my OM-D in an external monitor or projector. If I use the HDMI interface, I can only playback images already taken, not show the active screen. I do not need to have a computer controlling it, just be able to show what is already visible on the OLED. Any clues?

Use the video cable included in the box that has the camera's proprietary USB cable on one end, and a yellow male RCA/phono cable on the other, and plug the yellow end into the yellow female connector on the projector/monitor and select A/V-composite mode...I've done this with my E-M5 so it does work!

And you can get a decent male to female extension cable for extra length.
