Just a quick heads up as I hadn't seen this posted. Adobe have launched an update to Camera Raw and the DNG converter (but no Lightroom) today.

Camera Raw updates to version 8.8 for Photoshop CS6 and CC and enables raw support for the following new cameras (the Olympus OMD EM5 II is at last supported). DNG converter also updated.

New Camera Support in Camera Raw 8.8
    • Casio EX-ZR3500
    • Canon EOS 750D (Rebel T6i, Kiss X8i) (*)
    • Canon EOS 760D (Rebel T6s, Kiss 8000D) (*)
    • Fujifilm X-A2
    • Fujifilm XQ2
    • Hasselblad Stellar II
    • Nikon D5500
    • Olympus OM-D E-M5 II
    • Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF7
    • Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS50 (DMC-TZ70, DMC-TZ71)
No mention yet on Lightroom 5 update fuelling the speculation that Adobe is imminently ready to launch Lightroom 6 (any day now).

Just thought it might be of use.

Does it do the Mk2 40 MP RAW?

wijang, it's actually a 64 Megapixel raw file, and yes Camera Raw 8.8 can handle it.

Nice! I've just been switching the EXIF data to E-M5 for my Mark II files but glad to see the update.

Silkypix added it too, in case anyone uses that.

Thanks for the 'heads-up'. I just installed the update and it seems to work fine. I really appreciate this because generating TIFs with Oly Viewer is a bit of a pain.

Works fine with CS6 and Bridge on Mac, thanks Adobe for updating CS6! Now I just need for Apple to do a system wide CR update including the E-M5II, so Aperture sees the raw files.

    Dear Fellow E-M5 II enthusiasts:

A warning with respect to the HiRes support of ACR 8.8. Although
it will read the 64 Megapixel .ORF files, it seems that it does not
    correctly interpret them.

More info in the following message at dpreview:

Has anyone heard when we will see the new release of Lightroom that will support the E-M5 II raw files without need to convert to DGN?
