I like to carry a Timbuk2 messenger bag almost daily. When I have it filled with work stuff etc. I wanted to throw my camera in the bag and not have it getting scratched.

    I picked this up:

Zing Medium Drawstring Pouch - Black with Purple top hem (7" long/4"diameter)

You can fit the camera in with either the 17mm or 14-42 and close the top.

Seems like it will work good.

As for another option I wanted to be able to convert different bags I already have. I have ordered this padded bag insert.

I havent received the insert yet but I think it will work pretty good.

I find the insert interesting. I have a love / hate relationship with most camera bags. To me they look pretty awful and are clunky - yet they provide swift access and good protection.

The insert may provide a way to find a bag that feels right yet divides and protects too.

I look forward to hearing what you think of it.

Did you ever get the Fossoux insert? If so, do you mind showing some pics, please. I've got a size Small Timbuk2 messenger bag and am looking to use it to throw in my EP-L1, some lenses, and other stuff for walking around while on vacation.
