What do most people use to cover their camera when it's raining? The easy answer would be not to go outside with your camera, but what if you have/want to... Would cutting a hole in a big ziplock bag work?

On several occasions I've let my G1 get decently moist with no issues; once done with a few shots I towel it off with my little red towel and hold it under cover until the next opportunity. This is where the Oly E/EM series shine of course - and if it's really raining it allows me to feel really good about owning the K-5

If you really feel you're risking the camera a bag like you describe is a good idea. I live in western Oregon, where 'rain' generally means a soft shower, especially to anyone in the tropics!
