camera button fell out - approx how much for repair?

    the soldier that is my EM1 suffered another casualty this weekend: Focus button fell off.

    dont think CSR will give me an estimate by email. and dont feel like dropping it off for a week+ at a service center just to get a quote.

    if its 50$ ill repair for cosmetic purposes. otherwise ill just fill it up with sugru clay. never ever use the darn button anyway. anyone have an idea from past experience?

    They replace the entire top panel (including the dials on the right), if it were to develop a problem with the dials they would probably do it for free since it's a known weakness...

    Try to contact Luton Cameras (google it), they have spare parts. I asked them for REC button for E-PM2, they ordered it, and sent it to me. I'm sure they can help you.

    Ouch...Luton also wants to replace the entire top plate....added labor it's north of 150 pounds....excluding shipping

    Looks like Sugru it will be

    Least I can say the camera won't have been babied
