Is anyone else as hung up on these as I am? I'm completely nutty over the look I get with both pics and video.

Looks really cool! Can you give the details on the lens?

Sure...here it is...$35 shipped with the adapter! I have been looking for better quality but for $35 it's pretty har to beat.

I'm going crazy too! Here's some shots thru a C-Mount Fujinon 35mm/1.7 I got off of a machine that dispenses epoxy. The apature controls blur and the spot size fills the frame. This lens was made for a 1/2" or 2/3" imager so the edges go crazy. What I like to call non-telecentric bokeh.

Very cool, I'm thinking about picking it up as well.

Can you describe the focus ring? Is it smooth and easy to adjust? I've handled CCTV lenses that looked like that that had smooth focus rings, but seemed kind of tight.

Also, at what stop does vignetting start to go away?

    Same here

I have a couple Fujinons I love; a 6mm and a 12.5mm. Zero vignetting in video crop mode. I have a few others that need modding to focus right =(

I use a Navitar 50mm F0.95 for 'macro' since it cannot fit anywhere near close enough for infinity focus and there is minimal vignetting.

I also use a Navitar 25mm F0.95 which is great for video (very little vignetting) but has pretty heavy vignetting for stills. The focus ring is tiny and hard to operate ...

I have seperate galleries with samples of each.

    More!

I've picked up a handful of C Mount lenses that have no business being mounted on a G2...but I did it anyway. Here's my favorite from the Computar 5mm f1.4 lens:

This is pretty heavily cropped. Without cropping, the frame looks something like this:
