Has anyone bought lenses off ebay from Japan? There are several new O45's listed at very good prices with free shipping. The sellers have good ratings, but I am wondering if these lenses will have any warranty at all and if that is something I should be concerned about anyway. Your thoughts and experiences appreciated.

I've had good experiences in the past. Olympus' warranties are worldwide, I believe. Panasonic isn't but most sellers will let you send the lens back to them, at your cost, and repair it under warranty.

  4. My O45 came from Korea, and my PL25 came from Japan. The PL25 is just over 18 months old now and the O45 just under. Both came with full packaging but I can't comment on the validity of the warranties.

Be careful with Customs too. My E-P5 fell into the black hole of their Chicago location on 11Aug2013 and I can't get anyone to give me info on why it hasn't reached my hands yet. It definitely doesn't happen to everyone, but just something to consider.
