    They came in their millions and though reports said it was a Caper White migration there were many other species.

    Here's a few shots ...

    Very nice work as usual.

    Edit;
    Just noticed the date this was originally posted. Must have dropped off the main page quicky.
    I think thats a problem with individual posts sometimes, they drop off too early and get missed.

  4. The scale patterns on the wing are fascinating. Have you ever done an abstract series focusing on just scales and wing patterns?

    Thanks Barry, appreciated.

    Thanks RFL, appreciated.

    It comes with the territory. What is is best.

    I rarely shoot anything that isn't alive so don't really get to that sort of thing.

    I prefer the first or fourth myself. Taste the difference ... what would we do without it.

    These are fantastic. Interested to know what equipment/settings you used for these.

    Thanks Jeff. Exif is in the files. Used a variety for these but don't remember exactly now, using Pany G1 + G5 + G6 with Oly 50/f2 + Oly 60/f2.8 with and without achromats.

    Really, I just aim and shoot. Nature, and the magic behind, does most of the work. :)

    Yes K... They are that. I personally have a soft spot for the so busy bees in the garden. The blue banded bees love to cross the spray while I'm watering the plants.
