It occurred to me that a high majority of photos I post here have usually something to do with fire. Sounds like I like fire!

I bit the bullet and bought a GX1 & oly 45 off a forum member last week. I'm looking forward to receiving it in the mail! To help pay for this new purchase I've sold off a few lenses. The first one to go is my Rokkor 50 1.4
Sold it last night on ebay and before I send it off I took it out this afternoon and burned (pun) up some time playing with it.

These will be last pictures from me taken with the Rokkor 50 1.4

    Metho + Gas Lighter= Flame

I used nature as the medium to satisfy my fire bug.

Am I still allowed to make a wish?

You're obviously on fire, I like them. And I admire you for being able to fire a Rokkor 50/1.4...

I still have the 50 1.7:smile: And my super favourite 45mm.

In the 2nd picture I can't believe how sharp this lens is, incredible I think.

    Excellent shots!
I wouldn't be without the f1.4: the lens that launched my affair with Minolta glass.

I sold my 1.7 but holding onto the 1.4... Glad you're getting the GX1 though, can't wait to see what you do with it!

And yet I'm back again with more burning photos. These aren't taken with the Rokkor as I don't' have that lens anymore, but with my trusty 20mm.

    GX1 and 20mm

This is my neighbour burning this year's sorghum stubble with fire harrows.
