Can someone explain to me how to set bulb mode on my G5? For the life of me, I can't seem to figure it out. I'm not in burst mode which I know is a must, but still can't seem to find the bulb mode. When I scroll through my shutter speed settings I don't find it there either. Kevin.
On my G3, set in Manual, then turn shutter until past the 60" mark. Not sure if it is available in Shutter Priority (camera may not know what to set aperture at).
Set the camera to Manual Press the rear dial to select shutter adjustment rather than aperture adjustment. Turn the dial all the way past 60 minutes and it will come to bulb mode
I always shoot in manual, so that part is right, but when I turn the rear dial to adjust shutter speed I don't see 60 minutes. It goes from 1 to 4000.
Bulb mode Kevin, I was curious if you ever got around to shooting your G5 in bulb mode, and if you had any tasty photo examples to share? I have a G5 on order, and it would be fun to see what you might have been able to accomplish with yours. Thanks, Paul
{} This is on a G6, and using long exposure rather than bulb mode. Shot in completely dark room and painted with a flashlight. No post processing, if I recall correctly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
