If you have any trouble with the forums, let us know here so we can help work them out. I am not a programmer, but I will do my best!

The one I've heard so far was from someone who was having difficulty staying logged in. The solution for this is:

1. Leave the site (navigate to a different site)
2. Erase your browser cache
3. Delete all cookies (warning - this will log you out of other sites as well!)
4. Return to mu-43 and log in again

You should only have to do this once.

If that doesn't work, your browser may not be compatible with our forum software. Some members have reported problems with Internet Explorer 8 (IE8). I recommend using Firefox for our forums, although other browsers work well too.

You may notice that threads don't always seem to recognize you've viewed them, ie the

Subscribe to see EXIF info for this image (if available)

remains after viewing. This is because the site doesn't update status continuously but rather periodically. It is less server intensive that way.

I'm not sure if this is important but for a day or two - and this morning right now - in my gallery section within my messages area I see two recent uploads, one by you Amin and one by Brian. When I click on the hyperlink to them I get that Host Gator Error Message saying "404 page not found." Let me know if you need more information. I have not erased them yet. Yours Amin was for DSCN106 which was uploaded last night at 5:02pm. Maybe this is due to the site's upgrading and is now a dead link?

DSCN106was a test image, uploaded by a Photopost support employee trying to help me get the EXIF display working. I deleted it.

Sometimes when writing a post, when I hit the reply button, it gives me a message like...you are not authorized etc, etc...So then I have to copy the post, sign out and back in again...
dunno.....but sometimes it's scary I tell ya....

Don, go to a different site, delete all your browser cookies, shut down the browser, restart it, come back to mu-43, and log in again. Should fix that issue.

Login problem

Hi Amin, I still got to login twice before I'm really logged in.
I cleaned before login with ccleaner.com.
I deleted cookies in webbrowser.
Problem still occurs. I wonder do others have similar login problems?

Sorry you are having trouble, Herman. Which browser (and version) are you using, and Mac or PC? Anyone else having this issue?

I have a log in issue with my Laptop.
I always have to log in...it doesn't know me...imaginr that.
I have done everything, ate the cookies, everuything...
I log in everytime I hit new post...

The desktop is fine... both Macs...

No problem here and for the next few days I am still on 10.5.8 and I use mostly Safari but have no problem on Firefox (same as Don's) either. I am on a MacBook Pro.

Problem With Uploading Images

I am trying to upload images to my galleries and most of the time it is failing. I can send the images, see the note at the bottom of the screen showing me that something is being sent and then instead of getting the captioning page, I just get a blank, white page with nothing on it. When I go back to the gallery, the images have not uploaded.
This is happening in both Google Chrome and in the most up-to-date IE.

Any suggestions?

What is very odd about this is that I have managed to get some photographs to upload and so I doubt it is the browser.

I won't be reinstalling Firefox as it has just turned into bloatware and slows my system down too much.

Ok, Firefox is out.

Could it be the size of the image. I have had some freeze with larger images?
If not, have to tried to just refresh the page and see if it comes back up?

I will send this to Amin.... He may be working so give him a few hours...

Thanks for that. I think you could well have something about the size of the images. I will try making them smaller and see if that works.

Problem solved! It was the image size.
