Bracket / Grip for GH2 or other m4/3 Camera

Discussion in 'Accessories' started by Boatman, Feb 12, 2013.

  1. My biggest complaint with the GH2 is that the camera is too small for my right hand. I'm forever hitting the ISO or other button accidentally and I only get two fingers on the camera to steady it. This is compounded when I am using a small lens, like the 20mm, and there isn't enough room on the lens for my left hand to grab that either.

I could purchase the Ownuser grip, though I don't know how much it would help and it's an expensive solution. L-brackets are cheap but seem to be of DSLR size for the most part. Or, I could finagle a bracket out of a piece of aluminium stock, a 1/4" thumb screw and an old ski handle. Before I attempt any of these solutions, what have other people done to solve this issue?

    Or is it just me?
