My unbounded sympathies and prayers to the people of Boston and all those that participated or attended the marathon.

I gave blood a week ago, even though I'm a continent away, I hope my blood can somehow help the injured.

    God bless you all.

I am listening/watching the coverage now. I echo's Gary's thoughts and prayers. Tomorrow might be a good day for me to give blood.

I hope our Boston members are okay. My wife and kids were at the marathon today watching, thankfully no where near where the bombs went off. Such a tragedy. All the victims are in our thoughts today.

Having lived my first 40 years in Boston, I consider it "home". My first apartment after leaving my parents was only a few blocks away from this awful incident. My thoughts and deepest sympathy to all involved. So far all the family and friends I've check in with are OK.

Condolences to those who have lost.
I guess in some way we all lose when something like this happens.
I pray for a quick healing of wounds and a swift and fair justice.

Lived in Boston for 3 years and fell in love with the place. Feel sick hearing what's happened. My thoughts are with those affected by yesterday's events.

My sympathies are with all those affected by this despicable event and I just hope they do receive swift justice.

Here in the UK things are twitchy due to state funeral for ex PM on Wed and London Marathon at the weekend

I think all the democracies of the world are a bit twitchy today. Bratton, former chief of police for Los Angeles, New York and Boston is in London giving you guys a helping hand. No evidence indicating the attack was sponsored domestically or internationally, I hope these insane murders will stop in Boston.

My condolences, prayers and thoughts are with those who are affected by the bombings. It is a despicable act, and even from halfway around the world, I just want to say that there are a lot of us who are thinking of you guys.

Sympathies to all those involved or affected
Another shameful act by those who don't deserve to have a place in this world
