Great photos. They show exactly what modern air travel is about. I use Hong Kong and Singapore often and your photos have given me a taste of my travels.

thanks for your comment, it was a long trip as I don't live in Hongkong. brought three primes of 19 25 and 60, so far the photos have been taken with the 19 and 60, I used to shoot the 25 all day long until I've got the two Sigmas

Does security ever get "tense" with people taking photos inside airports ?

No actually I think it's pretty common for people to take photos inside airports, but I get tense every time I point the camera at a stranger, how do I avoid that?

It amazes me that airports in different parts of the world look so similar. You chose a great way to kill time while waiting for your flight. Nice set!

  7. It has taken me 25+ years to get over it and I still haven't completely. It just shows that you are sensitive to other people's feelings if it makes you nervous. On the flip side, remember that you are not really doing anything wrong by taking someone's picture if they are in plain view in public. If they don't want to be seen they should stay home. However, I don't believe that an airport is "public" property, that is, it is privately owned so if somebody gets upset and complains you could be asked to leave.

Yes I'm sensitive and I think being sensitive gives us photographers the eye to capture the moment that makes our viewers feel, not everybody has got the eye to find the innermost emotion that they can express through the photo.

At some parts in airports there are signs of No-cameras and I'll pay attention to that.

I always do that to kill time, thanks. And highway is another thing that looks similar across different countries isn't it?
