    Couple of items here:
Are there any good books about the G5?

Also, open discussion about non-coffee-table books that have provided information or inspiration.

    My favorites are:

Ansel Adams' Examples:The Making of 40 Photographs, where he provides the back story on some of his favorite works. It's not all about f-stops and has good stories for the non-photographer.

National Audubon Society Guide to Landscape Photography which blends great photos with a ton of info about equipment and technique.

    John Shaw's Landscape Photography

Museum of Modern Art/Szarkowski Looking at Photographs

    The Polaroid Book

    Ansel Adams Polaroid Land Photography

The Tao of Photography (not my favorite but worth a read)

Almost any book by Roger Hicks, John Sexton, or David Plowden.

Being from (and loving) Texas I have to mention David Muench and Wyman Meinzer but most of their books fall in the coffe table variety.

I've recently read several books by David DuChemin that I connected with.
