Body Cap Olympus lens on an E-P2

Discussion in 'Open Discussion' started by lfmerrell, Feb 25, 2013.

  1. I recently purchased the Olympus 15mm f8 Body Cap lens. Yet to take photographs with it. What bright clear, cloudless and sunny Texas day settings would would be recommended on an Olympus E-P2.

    Thanking you in advance

Auto would work. It's auto stopped down to f/8, so you need good light to use it. Remember to open the lens, and put it on one of three focus points: infinity, hyperfocal, or .3m

The sunny f/16 rule states that proper exposure @ f/16 is with a shutter speed equal to the ISO (front lit subject). For f/8 you would double the shutter speed/ISO setting for each f/stop. For f/8 your shutter speed would be 1/400 second.
