I haven't really been posting recently... truth be told I had kind of stopped taking photos. Anyway, last night there was an acoustic blues jam at our local bar , the Hotsy Totsy here in Gent, Belgium.

Took along my GH2 with 20mm and 45mm lenses ( a great combo - the unused lens fits in a jeans pocket)

600 shots later I got a set of 50 or so. Shot wide open at 3200 and 4000 ISO, they came out not bad... certainly captured some of the atmosphere

    full set here

Great shots! I noticed the Exif on the first one mentions ISO 6400, that is pretty impressive I have to say!

    Nice stuff, Kevin.

    That first shot is spectacular.

I took a look at the entire set and there is some outstanding work.

Excellent images Kevin. You captured something really interesting and inspiring in all 3 shots.

    1. The dance
    2. The funky John Lee Hooker-esque shoes
    3. A beautiful 'in the moment' smile.

    Thanks Rich

sometimes other stuff in life gets in the way of what you enjoy

plus this forum seemed to have gone more gearish and that only barely interests me..

the latest camera is always going to be better.... how much that 'better' is depends on your expectations - realistic or otherwise.

To me I have never been really dissatisfied with my camera... only my photographs

still it was good to get a good set under my belt
