Has anyone had weird blue orb, noise type thing on their video? Not sure if bad sensor, slow card, light issue.

Not sure what to call it. Just got the camera yesterday. So far it was just on the video not pictures.

I am using a Nikon 50mm 1.8 and was shooting 72Mbps movie at 24 frames.

I can try and post the video or a still in a few minutes.

    Thanks.

are you using any filters on the lens ?

    It might be internal reflections

    filters

Just a UV Filter. I tried my 18-70 and it did not happen.
I then tried the 50mm again and stopped down and it went away mostly.

My guess is when there is extreme bright light on more open f stops it happens?

    IDK, still testing.

It could be a bad filter - try shooting without it. It certainly looks like some sort of reflection that the sensor is picking up. It could also be a dirty or damaged lens.

On a side note, you need a bounce board if you are going to shoot in such dense shade. The subject{guy} is way too dark. Either that or expose for him and let the background over-expose.
