Blue Angels with 12-35mm

The Blue Angels are in town this weekend and I was hoping that they might fly over my office today. I sat with my window open watching the air show a mile or so away. I was ill equipped with just my 12-35;P. I heard a roar coming and they were suddenly overhead while I was unprepared with the lens set at 2.8. with at least 1/3 of the frame cropped away I ended up with this.

We almost went to the Chicago Air Show, but just had too much going on this weekend. Good stuff.

Wow, they flew really close by. Last time I took them, I had a 45-200 all the way and they were still not close to filling the frame (or even sharp).
