I started another thread with oly 45 and B/W winter, I am making new thread without referring to one lens.

I Was thinking of concept with high contrast winter shots done in Lightroom 4.

It is not easy to get shots during the weekdays, it is dark when I go to work in the morning and dark when I get home.

Hopefully I can add some more during the weekends

Those shots are from yesterday, I had my canon DSLR with my favorite landscape lens (canon 10-22mm) and the G1. Most of the shots from this location where taken with the canon. 2 or 3 shots with the samyang (just in case I wanted to compare them).

I actually thought I was editing the best canon shot, half way trough I noticed it was the samyang

Excellent pictures. I also love the first shoot. Pictures like this will animate others to get into scenic photography :)

Samyang 7.5mm f/3.5 UMC Fisheye (cropped to 3:2 aspect ratio) - more pleasing that way and the horizon off center

The pole on the right has some fisheye effect, it dosen't really bother me but I might look into correcting things like that later (lens profile or Huginn?)

Gary - It saddens me that you must bear the heavy burden of living in SoCal. It ain't Iceland, but I'm offering a mutually beneficial house swap for a few weeks.

For me it presents a respite from Indiana's abysmal gray environ:frown:, to experience sunlight and blue sky. For you it provides a lifetime opportunity to shoot dramatic B+Ws of corn stubble piercing its snow covering, while fill that gaping hole in your expansive portfolio.

Let me know if I may assist you in this and other endeavors.
