Bird in the wind

    I only had my 12-50mm lens with me, all the other photographer out there had huge tele lenses. So... I just walked up the bird and took a picture. It worked out well I think!

    As long as you didn't flush what they were shooting. There's a good reason why long lenses are used, it lets us keep our distance and not scare everything away. I don't care to count the number of times I've been shooting or waiting for a well camouflaged bird and someone just walks right in.

    Thanks all! I did actually wait for the guys with zoom lenses to finish shooting and asked if they minded if I went up for a shot. If I had my 40-150 with me I'd have used it!
