    Hi,

I propose this new theme for all of us to share pictures about the living things we find in our gardens : flowers, birds, insects, .... you name it, we'll post it.

Just one condition : in your garden, so no pics from the zoo, parcs or forests, or botanical gardens, ....

I'll kick off with a shot from this week, with the E-M5 and a Micro-Nikkor 105/2.8

I think there is a translation error as it's a grey squirrel but I love the comment ... we would say 'fingers in the till'

not a translation error, I thought it was a fox because of the tale !
Hard to tell on a B/W picture .....

But, a squirrel is more logical certainly

Yeah, they're all very persistent. It sounds incredible I know but I manage a ranch with three vacation houses for a family and they are bird enthusiasts. We have six feeders of carrying descriptions. We go through about 2500 pounds ( I kid you not ) of black sunflower seeds a year. At least half of it goes to the squirrels.

2500 pounds! That makes my 1 or 2 pounds of peanuts pale into insignificance.

I love your picture, I can never get to my zoom lens in time, he always runs away.

Love the zucchini flower -- gorgeous. I have a killer recipe for zuccini bread and another for calabacitas. Every time I see the word "zucchini" I think of them.

I think there are three or four species in this tree -- the Ball Moss, then something bigger, stiff leaves in a rosette, about fist sized to double that, and then the really big one. It's the tropics down here (Nicaragua).

However, we don't have squirrels in town, though there are squirrels out in the country.
