So due to my ongoing rehabilitaion & physio, I'm simply not getting the time to go proper mountain biking as much as I'd like. I feel kinda weird cruising along shared bike/walking paths and such, tyres howling as they chew themselves up, so I slipped on a set of 2" tubeless slicks. Very much like. Smooth, quiet, & surprisingly good grip in the current dry, rocky, sandy & gravel conditions around here at the moment. Does my mates heads in when I turn up with slicks for a more adventurous bush ride too

This solo ride got a tad too adventurous, started off ride 50 meters, lift over a log or two, ride a bit more, until after about a km or so, ended up plain old hike a bike. Bush got too thick to get an assembled bicycle through, so consulted Google earth, back tracked a bit, & climbed up out of the gully & found the closest track. Still good fun though
