... I'm going to start off the Bi-Weekly (semi-weekly?) ... TWO WEEK photography motivation booster challenge (the BWPMBC for short! :D) with a simple theme:
...
Bi-weekly is the correct term for something meant to cover two weeks or recur every two weeks. Semi-weekly would be twice per week.

Looking forward to getting out and participating.

By the way you might want to add in the "rules" that the intention is that entries would be images captured in the two week window. Since the idea (at least as I understand it) is to get folks motivated to go out and shoot, rather than just to scour their image catalog.

Agreed, with the exception that catch-ups are perfectly acceptable.

Yeah, I mean, this seems like pretty low stakes, so obviously no one's likely to be checking timestamps on EXIF data. I just think it makes sense to clarify that the intention is that they be "new" images captured, not back catalog.

Oke, without reading this topic, I would have passed this flat board without seeing anything interesting.

The motion blur is done on purpose and seems to enhance the intended effect of depth

This was the first thing I saw after leaving my house camera in hand to look for a subject for this challenge.

P. S. I'm not sure if the intention here is that one should submit a single "entry" during the two-week period, or if multiple submissions are allowed/ encouraged.

Unless you're worried about using up bandwidth, who cares how many shots you post?

...

Here's one I grabbed while at the barbecue on Wednesday. I wasn't going to post any to this challenge, but what the hell? (Voigtlander 17.5mm @ f4, hand held).

I like the colors here!

On a side note, it seems like it might be about time to give that deck some love. ;)

Cool thread. My favorite subjects are basically composed of lines & curves. Arranged in such a manner as to convey speed, sleekness, beauty, or just great power. I do my best to try and capture those elements in my shots, sometimes they work, sometimes they don't :)

Is there an other side or is it a line building?

Playing with a new (to me) vintage lens. Actual aperture was f/5.6.
