Is there a way to get search returns as posts rather than threads? Can't find a way and I sorely miss it.
For example, if I search for a specific bag model all I get are all the threads that includes the bag. Well the most popular bag thread is 139 pages long!! I'd like to get the posts containing my search criteria.

Have I just misses it or is it possible to add the function?

cheers

Can you explain that a little bit clearer please
I'm not sure how to explain something as simple as that more clearly without just repeating myself, but I'll have a go....

1 open a web browser
2 go to google
3 in the little part where it allows you to type in a search paste in what I gave you above

this restricts google to search *ONLY* the site mu-43 for the keywords that follow

if you type words into google search those words are called "search key words"

so if you google noisy miner you are typing the words noisy miner into google

by adding the first item as exactly site:www.mu-43.com you are commanding google to restrict its searching to only the site mu-43 and not every site on the planet

did you actually try what I said before you replied?

LOL, sorry to seem so stupid
I didn't add "site" and your cats through me off and then you told me not to click on it and then the "BB" totally lost me.

Anyway, I tried it again and it works. sort of. So, you have to go outside Mu-43. On other forums I've been able to do it much easier by choosing to get the returns as "posts" rather than threads.

@Amin; Could that function be added here

Sorry about that

BB = Bulletin Board

I always go out to Google as 90% of BBs end up either using Google but masked or return lousy results. So I just go to Google and avoid the head scratching of learning the foibles of the many bbs I use.
